Merrell was born in Kansas City, Missouri, and moved to Los Angeles, California in 2013. With her twins sister, she posts skits, challenges and music videos to their YouTube channel, merrelltwins. She and her sister were named YouNowers of the Year at the 2016 Shorty Awards.
