Jane's book deal??

So, Jane recently got a book deal and was offered a whole lot of money ($50,000 I believe), but then she finds out she won't earn it all at once. I wonder what's gonna happen next, and if she's gonna get her job back. If all this backfires, how is she going to deal with it?
