The Expensive House is a residence on Jane the Virgin, located in Miami, Florida.
Story[]
The house is originally rented for $1000 to Michael and Jane, as Petra secretly owns the house and pads the rent so they can afford to live there.[1] When Anežka, who knows nothing of the arrangement, paralyses Petra and takes her place, the payments stop. Jane realises what Petra had done for them and they decide to try and cover the payments themselves. After making large budget cuts with Michael and resolving to borrow money from Rogelio to make ends meet, the couple decide to move to a smaller apartment, and their housewarming party becomes a farewell party.
