Krishna Dhawan is a recurring character on Jane the Virgin. She is portrayed by Shelly Bhalla.
Character[]
Although Krishna is terrified of Petra, she still does a great job of keeping everything together. When Petra enlists Krishna to listen to her while trying to figure out how to get Chuck back, Petra asks Krishna if she has a boyfriend and Krishna replies that she's gay.
Krishna turned herself in as the person implicating Petra in Anežka's murder.[1] However, this was not true. In the season 4 finale, we learn that the actual blackmailer was threatening her family. She calls JR from jail to warn her that Petra is going to be hurt by the actual blackmailer.
After Krishna is released from jail, Petra hires her again as her assistant; this time under new working conditions. When it's revealed that Miloš is planning to sell the Marbella, Petra believes that Krishna will help her with getting rid of Miloš. In secret, however, Krishna is working with Miloš (who was the blackmailer), and they're planning to sell the Marbella. It is later revealed that she and Petra had the entire thing planned, in order to get the Marbella back

- Krishna was, originally, meant to be only in one episode, Chapter Twenty-Six. However the creators liked Shelly Bhalla and decided to keep Krishna for more episodes.
- Her surname was confirmed to be Dhawan in Chapter Seventy-Six.
- She was sent to prison, but then got out.
- After she returned to her old job, she was stronger and got triple her salary.
- She is a lesbian.
- She and Miloš are plotting against Petra, in order to sell the Marbella.
- It is later revealed that it is a secret plan created by Krishna and Petra, and Krishna was just pretending to be working against Petra.
