About
- What can administrators not do?
Administrators should not use their administrator powers to settle editing disputes; for example, to lock a page on a version he or she prefers in an editing dispute that isn't vandalism. Administrator powers should be used to help keep the wiki clear of vandalism, spam, and users who make malicious edits, but not for simple disagreements between users acting in good faith. Ideally, an admin shouldn't be considered "in charge". The ideal admin is just someone who is trusted to have a few extra buttons and to use them for the benefit of the Wikia community.
- No active admins
If there are no active bureaucrats, contact staff. A community decision will be reached on a new admin. Alternately, if there are no active admins for 60 days, any user may apply to adopt a wiki and if the application is successful, Wiki Staff will grant the rights. Bear in mind users must fulfil specific terms to adopt a wiki.
- Recruitment Path
For you to become an administrator, someone with bureaucrat access must make you one. With this path, someone with bureaucrat access will grant you admin status.
- Written Entry path
For this method, make a blog post and write a few sentences about why you should be granted Administrator rights.
Becoming a Moderator
- Recruitment Path
For you to become a moderator, someone with bureaucrat and/or administrator access must make you one. As of right now, we are currently looking for any moderators, so keep on the lookout. With this path, you do not have to ask for these rights, but someone with bureaucrat and/or administrator access will grant you with moderator status.
- Written Entry path
For this method, you must write a few sentences about why you should be able to granted moderator rights. Sent it the Wiki's email at jtv.wikia@gmail.com.As of right now we are currently now looking for any Admins.
