Melissa was Rogelio's second wife and his manager. Melissa has two twin daughters, Valeria and Victoria, from a previous relationship. Melissa, being Rogelio's manager, is still in his life as are her daughters, whom he considers family. Melissa moves her family to Miami when Rogelio moves the production of The Passions of Santos to be closer to his daughter Jane.
She has gone out of her way to make herself an enemy to Xiomara.
