Chapter Eighty-Seven is the 6th episode of Season 5 of Jane the Virgin.
Synopsis[]
IT’S NOT THE SAME – Jane (Gina Rodriguez) struggles with giving Rafael (Justin Baldoni) his space after she discovers that he is hiding a secret. Jane and Michael (Brett Dier) uncover clues about what happened the day he “died”. Petra (Yael Grobglas) wants to fit into JR’s (guest star Rosario Dawson) world and enlists Jane’s help. After a few attempts to get back into the groove, Xo (Andrea Navedo) and Rogelio (Jaime Camil) work together to try and find a new normal. Meanwhile, Alba (Ivonne Coll) confesses her feelings about Jorge (guest star Alfonso DiLuca).

'Secrets'[]
- Rose didn't cause Michael amnesia due to her mask when she was Eileen, but because he saw her username for an online black market.
- The number Luisa asked Rose about for the police, is Rose's password.
- Since, as we already knew, Michael actually never wanted to quit the police, his dream job, he kept investigating on Sin Rostro in secret by himself after being shot by her.
- This revelation makes Jane question her and Michael’s marriage since apparently he wasn’t truly happy with his life and needed more.
