Hey everyone, I'm MakeShift and I've been assigned to take over as your Wiki Manager for the Jane the Virgin Wiki! I'm here to help you guys and act as a sort of "middleman" between the community and full-time Fandom staff, and to make sure we keep everything healthy and in great shape.
While I'm at it, I might also bring up Fandom's latest project, the Unified Community Platform, or UCP. Over the next little while, Fandom will be transitioning over to the UCP, and so I'll be here to help make that process smooth for all of you. In how the UCP affects the general user, the project will seek to make editing and getting around wikis a whole lot easier, so it's nothing but an upgrade in terms of editing and content creation, and a bonafide benefit to everyone. If you're in need of any more information surrounding that, feel free to check out the previously linked blog, or even shoot me a message!
Overall, if you need any help, don't be afraid to swing me a message, and I'll try my best to solve any problems you guys might have!
I watched the show all the way through Jane’s grief phase of Michael, I feel that he always got the short end of the stick. Now I get why his parents didn’t want them together although, What amazed me was always forgiving of her and supportive, putting her first and his saying “ I just want you to be happy, Jane”.
When they brought him back from dead I watched to see what’d flourish sadly not the case.
I hated that Michael character was completely diminished to a point that he was annoying and rude. But when his memory returned he still tried to leave thinking of Jane, after all she went straight for the divorce papers as if it was a bad breakup. And imagine coming back from amnesia to Jane and finding out she ends up with the one guy who was your rival in the love triangle. The one who just caused every issue in their relationship (pregnancy, family wiping his memory)with no boundaries or respect for engaged women.
Honestly, when she said goodbye to Michael again even though this was her husband who was willing to do whatever it took to make it work...I just skipped over all the episodes to the one that showed him in last season just to see if they gave him a happy ending.
Yeah, he ends up in love with a very low class pregnant woman that was truly convinced that he was over Jane and that it only took less than nine months...Come on really? I smell rebound/shotgun wedding and Michael still in there being honorable by marrying for sake of a unborn child . He settled, not quite the same as being happy. I wish they would of presented his fiancée as a girl next door, warm loving person that Michael was so in love with and you could see it was better than what he had with Jane, even making her a writer or all around confident woman. I loved Janes character probably because I’m Latina but not how she played those two. Michael should of been more honored in this story as just staying dead then I could of endured the last seasons after! What baffled me was the solid love they had for each other (Jane and Michael) from Janes fast forward of them growing old together was beautiful but meant nothing after she just shrugs him off with no hug at the diner and walked away with a smirk when she seen he he was stuck witH. Charlie should of showed up with baby in hand, all cleaned up, with the two married and in love...that would of been a better reward for Michael and slap in face for Jane.
Conclusion, if you’re team Michael, the end is after he dies...promise me! If you’re team Rafael, then watch the whole thing.
Final, Michael would of called Rogelio dad upon request 😂 If it wasn’t for Mateo, who knows things would’ve been different. They both end up with partners for sake of kids.
Does anyone remember which episode Jane had a temporary job as a carer? She was looking after an old lady in a wheelchair. Many thanks if you can help!!

Hi Fans, I have finally managed to get a date with a girl who is a very big fan of Jane the Virgin and was hoping you could help me. I would like us to reenact one of the romantic dates on the show but I haven't seen the show past the 1st season. If you can point me into the right direction it will be appreciated.
Remember WAY BACK WHEN they switched the kid who played mateo. i always brought up how the old mateo was way cuter but now im totally in love with new mateo!
Has anyone ever realized how much shade Mateo, the narrator, has thrown at the characters over the past 5 years, especially Jane and Rafael? 😂😂😂
Hi all! My name is Mandy, and I’m the assigned Fandom Wiki Manager for the Jane the Virgin Wiki. I am here to help the community and be a liaison to full-time Fandom staff. If you ever have a question or issue relating to the wiki, editing, etc., please contact me on my message wall.

i haven't been as interested or intrigued to watch s5 of jtv as the other seasons... mainly because from what i've seen, the same stuff has beenn happening. rafael is pushing jane back more and more and there isn't really anything spicy happening. other than raf's stalker... but i'll try to make myself watch it and hopefully i like it.

Hey so I know the show's already on it's last season, but I'm gonna binge it soon on Netflix (I know I'm a late bloomer). But before I watch the first episode, I wanna watch all the flashback episodes in chronological order. Just give me a list of all those episodes in chronological order. Please be specific.
Okay. So I just finished watching the new JTV episode and I just wanna express how fucking HAPPY I am about Jafael!!!
I truly fell in love with this ship from day one. They had/have this undeniable chemistry that captivates me, making me feel shit I've never even felt before. But my main reason for being especially happy about this ship is the major half which is: Rafael. Rafael, possibly my favorite character, has been someone I could relate to. And I don't mean his good looks, money, or his dynamic love interests. But I can relate to him because I seen him as someone who's been put through hell and back. From having a murderous absentee mother, a decietful deceased father, mentally ill sister, cancer, being cheated on by his wife and best friend, being trapped into a pregnancy, all the way to losing his love to someone else. And whilst being depressed, he somehow always manages to be selfless around Jane. Always forever thinking of her and putting her feelings first. Once she made her decision to choose Michael, Rafael had to let her go because of the pain of loving her was hurting him. Then when Michael dies, never did Rafael try to overstep ANY boundaries or reanact on his previous feelings, but honestly he wasn't thinking of her like that anymore. When Michael was gone, Jafael were able to bond as friends. Their friendship has this amazing chemistry that I didn't even mind them not being in a romantic relationship at the time. THAT'S how much I love this ship. I loved them as friends, and I love them even more in a relationship. Anyway, I'm happy Jane finally chose Rafael over Michael because he deserved to be loved. If there's any character that deserves it the most, it's him.
Love the show but feel as if they are forcing Micheal to be different so that she will have to go back to Rafeal and not Michael. I truly believe that Michael is the perfect person for her, and i understand that after living as someone for that many years will change a person but not o much that it errases everything that they have. Like in the scene in episode 6 where he is saying how all the romantic stuff he used to do for her is just soppy and cheesy, I dont believe that he would act like that. I feel as though the show looks at it as they had their happy ending and now they want to satisfy the fans who want Jane and Rafeal together. Lots of signs pointing towards this ending and Micheal leaving the show after the next episode.
