What's on your mind?
Hey so I know the show's already on it's last season, but I'm gonna binge it soon on Netflix (I know I'm a late bloomer). But before I watch the first episode, I wanna watch all the flashback episodes in chronological order. Just give me a list of all those episodes in chronological order. Please be specific.
Okay. So I just finished watching the new JTV episode and I just wanna express how fucking HAPPY I am about Jafael!!!
I truly fell in love with this ship from day one. They had/have this undeniable chemistry that captivates me, making me feel shit I've never even felt before. But my main reason for being especially happy about this ship is the major half which is: Rafael. Rafael, possibly my favorite character, has been someone I could relate to. And I don't mean his good looks, money, or his dynamic love interests. But I can relate to him because I seen him as someone who's been put through hell and back. From having a murderous absentee mother, a decietful deceased father, mentally ill sister, cancer, being cheated on by his wife and best friend, being trapped into a pregnancy, all the way to losing his love to someone else. And whilst being depressed, he somehow always manages to be selfless around Jane. Always forever thinking of her and putting her feelings first. Once she made her decision to choose Michael, Rafael had to let her go because of the pain of loving her was hurting him. Then when Michael dies, never did Rafael try to overstep ANY boundaries or reanact on his previous feelings, but honestly he wasn't thinking of her like that anymore. When Michael was gone, Jafael were able to bond as friends. Their friendship has this amazing chemistry that I didn't even mind them not being in a romantic relationship at the time. THAT'S how much I love this ship. I loved them as friends, and I love them even more in a relationship. Anyway, I'm happy Jane finally chose Rafael over Michael because he deserved to be loved. If there's any character that deserves it the most, it's him.
Love the show but feel as if they are forcing Micheal to be different so that she will have to go back to Rafeal and not Michael. I truly believe that Michael is the perfect person for her, and i understand that after living as someone for that many years will change a person but not o much that it errases everything that they have. Like in the scene in episode 6 where he is saying how all the romantic stuff he used to do for her is just soppy and cheesy, I dont believe that he would act like that. I feel as though the show looks at it as they had their happy ending and now they want to satisfy the fans who want Jane and Rafeal together. Lots of signs pointing towards this ending and Micheal leaving the show after the next episode.

I binge watched the show and I'm crazy in love with Jane and Rafael. I hope they end up together. I was SO shocked about the season 4 finale. I am afraid this whole story ends with a jason and Jane happy end! Please not! Team JAFAEL. What do you think?

in the s4 finale, j.r. finds out petra DID kill anezka, because her heel broke. but, in the previous episode, she says that according to the crime scene photos, the heel was left on the floor. BUT, the heel never broke off from petra's shoe! this makes me think of 2 options, vote for what you think it is:

Who do you think was the blackmailer in season 4
Personally I think as well as hope that it was Luisa who was the blackmailer and here is why.
I think it was her cause she has the most reason to get back at her as Petra. Not only has she been tricked by Petra in the past but she currently thinks that Petra was the one that trick her into finally giving into peoples thoughts of being crazy and signing herself into a mental institution only for her to find out that she was right all along. I bet if anyone else were in a similar situation, they’d want payback too.
That and I believe that her blackmailing plan was something she did to get Rose out of jail. See I personally didn’t believe here “I’m free from Rose” speech to Rafael, she has said that multiple times throughout the series (not only on Rose but other things as well) only for her to quickly get back to her bad habits and I believe this time is no different.
I believe Luisa originally wanted to get Petra in jail so that she can get her shares of the hotel back, thus restarting her plan to fund Rose’s escape plan (which I also bet Luisa also secretly gave her fathers money to instead of those
charities she told Rafael) but when JR foiled it she decided to kill Petra in order to get the shares back, only for her to get shot.
As for whyI think the writers should make her the blackmailer, I mostly see this as good opportunity to create some great stories.
One story I can see coming from Luisa’s potential death (or comatose state or imprisonment) is that it can lead to one final “battle” between Petra and Rafael on who will own the Marbella or maybe due to all the crime scenes over the years maybe the two will have to work together in order to save the Marbella from shutting down for good cause there’s got to be some kind of law saying that after a certain number
of crimes at a certain place has to be shut down, maybe they can make such a law for this show. A story like this could also cause a love triangle to form between Petra, JR, and Rafael.
Plus Luisa’s death, hospitalization, or imprisonment could also give Rose another reason to escape jail, and maybe as a result decides to get revenge on all the main characters in the series for not only getting Luisa killed but also messing with her plans one too many times.
Who do you think is the blackmailer ?
What's Jane and Michael's ship name
This show made me cry too much! God this is the best show ever. That season 4 finale had me screaming at the top of my lungs. Honestly I felt a very deep connection with Michael when he died I cried so much as though I lost someone I love in real life. This show will be the death of me.
I just came across this gag reel. I love this stuff. I LOVE THESE PEOPLE!! <3 youtube.com/watch?v=IWy0kya6-kA

Does anyone notice that Magda's face looks like Luisa (Rafael's sister)? included the way she gesticulate while she's speaking in the jail...
To be mindful of other viewers of the shows that have not seen anything (or assume that they have not seen everything yet), I write this first paragraph to be a warning for them. This discussion post may contain spoilers on characters or events that have happened in Season Four of Jane the Virgin. If you wish not to be spoiled, it is advised that you avoid this until you have watched Season Four from start to finish. Jane the Virgin continues to be a rollercoaster of emotions and drama. We have Xo dealing with her diagnosis, Alba finally becomes a naturalized United States citizen, Rogelio may be working things out with his co-star for the American version of his telenovela, Jane and Rafael seem pretty strong with their family dynamics, and Petra has found love in a strange way. But there's so much to talk about and how this season played out. Tell me about a favorite moment. Tell me whom you enjoyed most. What are you happy to have seen from these characters?
Imagine the whole series is based on a book written by Jane? And in the series finale, Michael is alive and well and they’re living happily ever after? 😩❤️
